An inn since 1627 and family-owned since 1928, the newly renovated and enlarged Hotel Altenburg offers a holiday in a traditional, friendly and cosy atmosphere outside of Innsbruck.
Situated in the centre of Mutters, our hotel is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck and its surroundings, for mountain hikes, skiing adventures in the nearby ski areas, and much more. There is an old, traditional Tyrolean parlour, a fireplace room with bar, a dining room with a panoramic view of the mountains, a winter garden, an indoor pool with sauna and steam bath, a solarium, a sun terrace and an orchard, as well as a weekly entertainment programme (also for children).

In summer, our hotel is the ideal starting point for beautiful mountain hikes, whether on your own or in a guided group. In winter, our guests are attracted by the various skiing areas in our surroundings, such as the Muttereralm, the Axamer Lizum or the Stubai Glacier.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 3 to 10 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
All children from 11 to 15 years are charged 75 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 90 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included.
Service charge is not applicable.
City/tourist tax is included.
Internet: Internet via modem is available in the business centre and costs EUR 4.00 per hour.
