Finding an Accommodation
With StarStay you can search for hotels, cottages, caravans, villas & apartments world wide. There are three types of searches available.

• Quick Search - Lists all accommodation available in the specified location.
  
  
• Availability Search - Lists only accommodations that have vacancies on the dates you specified. Using this search you can also search for accommodations with specific features such as conference room facility or swimming pool.
  
  
• Attractions Search - If you are visiting a city to attend a popular event or sight you may want to stay close to the event venue or sight. Attractions Search only lists accommodations close to popular sights and event venues you specified.

Search Tips

• Words to avoid - Do not use words such as 'Or', 'And' and 'The'. These words will have no effect on the search.
  
  
• Characters to avoid - Avoid characters such as commas, brackets, ampersands, backslashes and any punctuation marks. These characters will have no effect on the search.
  
  
• Spelling - Always double-check for misspellings or typos. If you are unsure of the spelling of a town or city name, just type in part of the name you know the spelling for and StarStay will list all town and city names that contains the string you typed.
  
  
• Non unique names - Not all towns and cities in a Country have a unique name. If your search matches more than one town or city, StarStay will display all matching names for you to choose the one you want.
  

Making a Booking
All search results in StarStay site are displayed in a list format. To open an accommodation website of your choice in a new window click on the "Go To Website" button. All accommodation web sites provide detailed information of facilities and services offered so you can make an informed selection.

Making a booking is a simple 5 step process. Follow the step-by-step process and provide the booking information and your contact and payment details. On completing the process you will receive an instant confirmation for your booking. It's that simple.


Cancelling a Booking
For any reason if you wish to cancel a booking you made through StarStay, visit the accommodation web site and click on the "Cancel Booking" icon on the terms and tariff page. You can, on logging in, cancel the booking completely or modify it.

The cancellation policy varies from one accommodation provider to another. Depending on the cancellation policy of the accommodation provider you may incur a penalty charge.
